Near Mint. Tiny fisheye to upper lip. Some grime and inner dirt which will wash out. Possibly a couple of small patches of contents residue, this is very fine and hard to see. Couple of scratches can be found on close inspection. A couple of the letters have some minor wear, 99% of the embossing is fine and unblemished in any way. The writing at the top within a prize cup indicates this product won a prize in the French city of Bourbonne in 1876, the central writing translates to industrial and commercial exhibition, the writing in the middle of the circle translates to something along the lines of first prize, Great Jean Silver Medal. Down one side reads: Bottle Valve! This is quite an important French feeding bottle, it would appear to be the prize winning patent for a type of valve that was used on baby feeding bottles. A very nice, early piece of glass. Grade: 9.4 Estimate: $50 - 75
