3 Chinese Ginger Jars. Goldfields Chinese Two large ginger jars, with Chinese characters to base, drippy blue glaze in grey. One smaller ginger jar, light grey colouration with darker grey print to body. 1. 140 mm. 2. 130 mm. 3. 122 mm.. 1860s-1900s
1. Excellent. No damage at all. Extensive crazing, some small manufacturing blowouts, stained, some surface opalescence on one side. Has a glazed lid with a couple of small flakes. Nice piece! 2. Excellent. Much the same as the previous example, although rough under the base with some shallow flakes, glaze wear and rust. Small lip flake. Crazing and discolouration to body. Unglazed lid has some rust staining. 3. Near Mint. Possible flake under base, is crudely made though, so likely from manufacture. Some small patches of rust stain. Has a lid which fits perfectly, it is green glazed, so likely not original. Lovely piece! Grade: N/A Estimate: $50 - 75
