Large black glass wide mouth jar. No base mark. Black Glass Utility Flared out lip above applied rim. Deep Olive Green / Black. Half Gallon. 295 mm. 1820s-1840s
Near Mint. Rough spot on lip is actually a hard substance (possibly rust) within a natural fold of glass. Some light inner haze in neck. A few surface scratches externally. This piece is very big and is loaded with little bubbles. Some of these bubbles are at the surface, but are extremely shallow. A very impressive piece of glass! Grade: 9.3 Estimate: $300 - 400
