In applied shoulder seal: V (upside down anchor) R. No base mark. Black Glass Seal Applied, flared out type top. Applied seal. Very Dark Olive Green / Black. Half Gallon. 258 mm. 1860s
Very Good. Very shallow 2 x 2 mm flake to front lip. Couple of other tiny fleabites to the lip. Some dullness around the shoulder and seal area. Some scuffs and scratches, mostly in the upper rear region, there is a small scuff to the left shoulder as well. There are some scratches near the base as well. Also some further dullness in patches around the bottle. Base is rather crude, may be the result of a refired pontil? Grade: 7.8 Estimate: $150 - 200
