G. H. Bennett / (GHB within flag) / Richmond. Base Mark: B. Aerated Water Codd Applied top, one way pour with two tear drops. Aqua. 32 oz. 300 mm. 1900s
Good. Couple of minor fisheyes to upper lip. Some scuffs and scratches to the body. At the base of the left seam line is a flake chip, 9 x 13 mm with an impact mark near the base of this. Next to this coming up the bottle is a scratch, 40 mm long. A scuffed scratch goes along the front base from here over for about 60 mm, with some impact marks in the middle of it, there is a scratch up from the middle of this across the embossing over 95 mm, which is reasonably light. At the end of the base scratch is an impact mark, 6 x 7 mm, which has a scratch coming up from it, also over the front embossing, about 125 mm. This scratch has caused some flaking to the M and a few other embossing flakes as well. Some internal rusty looking stains which should soak out. A very imposing bottle, one of the largest codd bottles made in the World! Grade: 6.8 Estimate: $150 - 200
