Very Good. Large size, we think the 14 underneath may be the capacity, but could easily be larger than this? Not to be confused with the Indian made codds with Extra Strong Glass embossed, this is an original and early advertising example from Cannington Shaw & Co. An extremely fine fracture to the upper lip, this goes down about 9 mm internally, 5 mm externally and is very difficult to see. Further around the lip is a shallow 5 x 4 mm chip and a 2 x 2 mm flake to rear lip. Scuffs and scratches externally throughout, generally nothing too deep. Small impact mark under front base. Has been oiled internally, and remains hazy inside. Fantastic bottle advertising Codd's Patent! Grade: 7.3 Estimate: $50 - 75
