Cobalt Banded Barrel. No base mark. Spirits Bitters Applied top, bulged barrel with 7 rings around the upper half, 6 rings around the lower half and a label space in the middle. Cobalt. 20 oz. 229 mm. 1870s
Excellent. Some fine haze or surface dirt internally. Upper lip has some very shallow flakes. Barely even a scratch to see externally. There is a tiny flake to the stopper. A beautiful piece, reminiscent of the American bitters bottles, this could have held anything. Grade: 8.8 Estimate: $300 - 400
