F. G. Ashby / F. G. A / Kyneton. Base Mark: M. Aerated Water Codd Applied top, tooled finish, four way pour Dobson style patent. Aqua. 13 oz. 232 mm. 1910s
Very Good. Inner lip nick which is very small, there is a fine associated bruise about 8 x 3 mm, but very hard to see. Couple of scratches to the front lip. General light scuffs and scratches, most prevalent around the shoulder area as a form of light crate wear. Also seen around the base, amongst which there are a few fisheyes. The embossing is very strong, there are some minor flakes and wear to some of the letters, but in general it looks great. There is dirt inside throughout and outside amongst the grooves and lettering, a good clean will bring this bottle up possibly into the Excellent range. There are a couple of fisheyes in the rear groove area as well. A very scarce bottle from country Victoria in really nice, unpolished and original condition. Grade: 7.9 Estimate: $150 - 200
