Excellent. Tiny 2 x 1 mm glaze flake to upper lip. On both left hand and right hand lip glaze hairlines start and spiral down to around the shoulder, both of these are just in the surface of the glaze. Another fine line goes across one of these towards the front shoulder, this curves across over about 50 mm. There are some similar short marks to the left body just below the shoulder. All these look like glaze cooling marks from manufacture. Some light scratches can be found to the glaze on very close inspection. Under the left side base is a small rust stain. A superb looking example in great show condition, this is a very rare bottle, considerably rarer then the white top, tan bodied example from the same company. Grade: 8.9 Estimate: $1500 - 1750
