Pratt Jar: (Venice). Gondoliers on a river. Prattware Jar Multicoloured Prattware jar depicting a scene of Venice. 87 mm. 1850s
Good. Has four chip repairs. One to the lip, about 15 x 5 mm but hard to tell exactly as it is under a discoloured section of paint. One is 7 x 8 mm on the side base, it has been coloured very well to match the scene. A 16 x 10 mm flake repair under base and another 12 x 8 mm flake chip on the opposite side has also been repaired, this one just encroaches up the side onto the scene. The lip repair has a fine 20 mm hairline coming down from it. There is a weird blob of pottery stuck to the side of the jar from manufacture. Otherwise, just general discolouration and crazing.
