E. Bignell / Chemist / Carlton. Pot lid Feeder Cap White baby feeder cap with black print. 40 mm diameter. 1890s
Very Good. Heavily crazed, with a rusty appearance within the crazing. Couple of discoloured nicks to the edge, one with a small hairline. Under the base is a chip, 14 x 5 mm, which is common with this porous type of lid. A good, solid example of a rare cap. Another name we hadn't seen before. It should come up well with a soak to remove the rusty crazing. Grade: 7.3 Estimate: $100 - 150
