Thornley & Howlett / (T and H Monogram) / Sale // Lemonade. Base: M. Aerated Water Codd Four way or Dobson type. Spun on top. Aqua. 10 oz. 227 mm. 1920s
Good. Back, near the base, has had a 14 x 9 mm piece pop out leaving a chip. A similar but smaller 5 x 5 mm chip can be seen on the curve of the front base. On the lower front is a 5 x 4 mm shallow bruise. There is a 4 x 3 mm flake off the back between the dimples. A scratch and a difficult to see 5 x 3 mm impact mark below the left dimple on the front. Glass is dull in areas and has some fine scratches and scuffs over the surface. Embossing is quite strong with only minor marks to some of the letters. Still quite a good looking example of a very rare country Victorian marble bottle. Grade: 6.55 Estimate: $100 - 150
