1, 2 & 3. Pioneer Co. Base: M. Household Salad Oil 1. Sample salad oil, vinegar, essence or similar product. Irregular hexagon, tapered to a tool finished top. Clear. 1 oz. 2. As above. Aqua. 5 oz. 3. As above - 10 oz. N/A. 1900s
1. Good. Stained all over with a light brown type stain. Seven or eight little bruises, fisheyes and pit marks on the surface including a couple of tiny "popped out" surface bruises. A few scratches and scuffs. 2. Good. Has a large chip off one of the back corners (17 x 15 mm), with an associated fracture. Some dullness inside and light scuffs and scratches. Bottle displays very well. 3. Good. Heavy rust stain on this one is the most obvious thing. A good soak in rust buster and a clean should remove most of this. Rest of the bottle is dull all over with some noticeable scratches here and there. Has a very shallow 3 x 1 mm flake to the right side lip. Solid bottle, clearly needs a good clean, quite an unusual size for these. Grade: N/A Estimate: $10 - 20
