Perfume bottle made in the shape of a Bellows. With a cork and metal stopper embossed: F. Wolff & Sohn / Karlsruhe. Base: Jagged pontil. Household Perfume Fancy bellows shaped bottle. Applied top. Clear (Flint glass). 1 oz. 119 mm with stopper. 1860s
Good. Would grade much higher but one of the "feet" has an 11 x 6 x 3 mm chip/fractured area. Bottle still displays beautifully from the other side. There is a tiny 2 x 2 mm flake to the lip. Some of the decoration has little flakes and marks to it. Annealing stress marks in the neck. Some dirt inside. Quite a stunning little piece of pontilled glass. Grade: 6.25 Estimate: $50 - 75
