E. Agnew / (Fancy EA monogram) / Cooma. Base Mark: S. Aerated Water Codd Applied top. One way pour. Aqua. 13 oz. 226 mm. 1900s
Very Good. 4 x 3 mm fisheye type ding to right upper lip. Smaller fisheye to rear base of lip. There are several other fisheyes to be found, mainly around the shouder and neck, around the base and down the seams. There is a shallow and small burst bubble to rear shoulder, 2 x 4 mm. Has a light haze internally. Some crate wear around the upper areas of the bottle, there are reasonably light scuffs and scratches across most of the body, a small patch of slightly heavier scratches on the left side beside the badge on the seam. The embossing is strong, there is only light wear on the high points in the most part, the monogram does have some flake chips from it which are smooth and therefore blend in so much that it took a few inspections before we noticed them. Between the A and the monogram on the front is a scratch and shallow flake, 7 x 1 mm and very shallow with a surface scratch near this. A very rare bottle with great eye appeal, this looks great as is, will be stunning after a polish. Grade: 7.45 Estimate: $350 - 400
