Blackwood & Co / Albert Bottle. No potters mark. Household Ink Cone shaped ink with double ring around base, ring around neck and large pouring spout. White stoneware. 2 oz. 110 mm. 1860s
Good. Solid enough but with several chips. There are 3 or 4 around the lower ring, the worst being 14 x 4 mm below the word Albert. The second ring up from the base has a couple of small chips to the back and side. The back of the top has two chips with the largest being 10 x 3 mm. A couple of manufacturing blowouts can be seen and there is a scratch on the neck at the side. Some wear can be seen on the sides and high points. A nice, hard to get, little ink bottle that displays OK as it is but would restore quite well also. Grade: 6.15 Estimate: $30 - 40
