Good. Has had a chip repaired on the lower front of the applied top, this is approximately 12 x 8 mm and is on the right side near the hole for the bail. The stopper is original, it has a chip from the internal part, the writing in red is quite clear and undamaged, there is some discolouration and minor flaking to the stopper. The upper lip of the bottle has a small patch of glaze wear. There is a glaze flake from the rear lower part of the top. The front below the repaired chip has a small glaze flake as well, there is some light scratching to the glaze around the repair from sanding during the repair. The right lug hole has some minor flaking to it. The sharp shoulder has some minor wear around it, there are a few small glaze flakes, one shallow flake has been touched up on the front shoulder, this is about 7 x 4 mm. The body of the bottle has some light scuffs and scratches to the shiny glaze. There is a 6 x 3 mm chip under the base. The blue print on this example is noticeably raised (smaller print variety). A most unusual example which is very nice. Grade: 6.7 Estimate: $200 - 300
