Very Good. Extremely rare bitters from Melbourne. Glass is dull to approximately three-quarters of the surface, with some swirled type staining and a few rust spots. The lip has three little flea-bite type impact marks on the Bitters embossed side. One edge about one-third of the way up from the base between the Dr Grant's and Dandelion sides has a very shallow 4 x 4 mm flake off it and a heavier scratch coming down from this. There are scratches and scuffs over the surface. A couple of tiny impact / fisheye type marks to be found. Really a nice example of this superb, rare Melbourne bitters bottle, produced by Shell & Zabel, a short lived company. Grade: 7.7 Estimate: $200 - 300
