Repaired. Looks superb with a professional repair that was not at first immediately obvious. Being slightly discoloured underneath made us look further, the underside has been painted with the colour having a slight yellow appearance. On the face it is apparent that the lid has been in cleanly broken into two halves and has been stuck back together. The line goes between the 'and Greasy Heels' line and the squiggly line and does not appear to encroach on any of the print. All of the print is original. Parts of the flange where the join has been made are overpainted. There appears to be no damage otherwise, this lid looks perfect on display. The outer black band has a few light scrapes on it. There is very light crazing evident. A super rare lid in any condition! No grading given due to nature of the repair but nice looking item. This lid does not come with a base. Grade: N/A Estimate: $400 - 500
