J. J. Cocking / Bendigo / Bottle Made in U.S.A. Base: W.T.Co. / B / U.S.A. Medicine Chemist Fancy shape. Spun on type finish to lip. Clear glass. Half Ounce. (Same size and style as was sold Lot 176 in Auction 3). 70 mm. 1910s
Very Good. A 5 x 2 mm surface bruise can be seen on the top of the lip, this bruise has discoloured from some rust. There is a slightly rough feel to the lip around from this, like a scratch on the edge. There is light opalescence to the surface and some minor scratches can be seen. Good crisp embossing. Tiny nibble to front edge. A nice example of a hard to get and unusual little chemist bottle. Grade: 7.4 Estimate: $50 - 80
