Lindeman / Cawarra. No base mark Wine Embossed Claret shape. Applied ring type lip. Dark Green. 13 oz. 240 mm. 1890s
Very Good. Bottle is dull over three quarters of the surface but this is generally fairly light. There is a noticeable 10 mm scratch above the RA of Cawarra. Some other scratches, mainly to the back, but one above Lindemans as well. Clear signs on the mould where a plate has been dropped in to add the embossing. Nice solid example of an early Australian wine bottle from one of the pioneers of the industry. Grade: 7.4 Estimate: $40 - 60
