Repaired. Lid has been in two pieces and glued together. Repair runs from the very top of the lid in a haphazard diagonal line down to a position around 4 o'clock on the rim of the lid below the R of Palmer. As you can see in the pictures, in addition to this repair the lid shows black and grey stain. Also some fine hairlines and crazing. Parts of the surface and underside of the lid are sticky where the amateur repairer has left traces of glue. Good print and still looks OK as it is. There is a shallow flake on the inner flange underneath. There are some scratches to be found. Extremely rare Australian lid. Grade: N/A Estimate: $1500 - 2000
