Pair of Broadbent's Medicine Bottles: 1. 3iv / Broadbent & Sons / Herbalists / Melbourne. M to base. 2. 3iii / Broadbent's / Babies Blessing. M to base. Medicine Chemist Both are Melbourne made versions of the "Phenix" shape, panelled front. Applied, tooled finished lips. No. 1. is green tinged aqua, 4 oz and No. 2. is clear glass, 3 oz. N/A. 1910s
No 1 is VG with a very shallow 4 x 3 mm flake to the lip and a similar 4 x 3 mm flake to the side base. Some light stain/dirt inside (needs a bit better clean). The Babies Blessing has a 6 x just over 1 mm flake to the front lip and a 3 x 1 mm flake to the side lip. Also has a fine 4 mm long fracture in the right side and a similar 3 mm long on the front left side. A nice little chemist however with unusual product. Grade: N/A Estimate: $10 - 20
