Eight ribbed sides, petals to shoulder, two rings in neck, unusual double ring lip. Mould line across base with dot and what appears to be a mould repair line at right angles. Goldfields Pepper Sauce Typical American pepper sauce shape, very crude applied double ring type top. More greenish tinged than usual blue aqua. 10 oz. 210 mm. 1860s
Very Good. Polished. Has had a light tumble clean. Still plenty of character, scratches on the outside are just rounded and shiny. Inside there are still signs of haze and spider-web type etching into the glass but fairly faint. Nice bottle and unusual with this colour and top. Grade: 7.8 Estimate: $50 - 75
