Marshall's / Sydney / Brewery. No base mark. Beer Ring Seal Applied top, unusual offset seam through lip. Dark green. 26 oz. 300 mm. 1910s
Very Good. There is an area of nibbling to the internal lip at the front, about 9 x 3 mm. The right side front base has a bubble that has fractured leaving a ding like appearance. There are some light scratches to the surface and some usage wear under the base. Although this does have a seam through the lip, it is offset and is much earlier than the usual examples with lip seams. there are some unusual manufacturing swirls around the bottle as well. There is a small patch of internal dirt near the base. This again is a very nice example of a scarce Australian brewery bottle. Grade: 7.6 Estimate: $300 - 400
