Near Mint. A little bit of rust around the lip, glaze has slightly missed in a couple spots like that as well. Slight opening where the handle meets the neck, but just part of manufacture. These had a rubber or wax type "seal" in the horseshoe shape on the shoulder and like nearly all of these this one is missing although some remnants remain. There is a tiny pottery blowout to the left side shoulder from manufacture. Superb looking jug with the striking black top and very unusual with the original stopper. Grade: 9 Estimate: $400 - 500
