Alexander / Chemist / Bathurst. No makers mark, smooth base. Aerated Water Corker Crude early applied blob top, dump shape. Bright, just slightly yellowish green. 10 oz. 153 mm. 1870s
Very Good. Would be better but has a burst bubble at the bottom of the word Alexander over half the R. The bubble in total is 14 x 7 mm and runs under the base. There's a 3 x 1 mm bruise on the very top of the lip, but quite difficult to see. Some very minor scuffs around the shoulder and some light scratches to the body. Wonderful, rare early bottle in superb colour, displays very nicely. Grade: 7.8 Estimate: $3000 - 3500
