On applied seal: Celcauxa Debinirciana / Labarraque / A / Paris. Deep kick up base, pontilled Household Pickle String cut lip, applied ring. Unusual wide mouth pickle type bottle. Deep Olive / black glass. 26 oz. 230 mm. 1840s
Excellent. Has some internal dirt, possible light staining. Externally the left hand side has some very light patches of haze and some small rust spots. There are some light surface scratches. The lip has some very light wear to small part of it, barely noticeable and a tiny flake from the upper lip. The applied ring around the top has the smallest of flakes. There is a shallow exposed bubble to the neck region on the right front side. There are two tiny impacts down near the rear base. This has a huge kick up base which is pontiled. There are some stains inside this base, possibly which will wash out. The internal opening on this bottle is 27 mm across, most unusual. This is a significant piece of early glass in a most unusual design. Simply stunning! Grade: 8.2 Estimate: $4500 - 5000
