Saunder's / Pure / Malt / Extract. (W. Saunders & Son, Richmond, Victoria). No base mark. Household Malt Extract Applied lip. Square section storage jar. Aqua. 10 oz. 152 mm. 1890s-1900s
Very Good. Top of front lip has an 8 x 3 mm chip, only shallow but rough. Coming from this chip is a 20 mm surface scratch. One of the back edges has a 2 x 2 mm impact mark. Glass is dull over most of the surface, inside and out. The is a small bit of glass stuck on the inside from manufacturing. Also some fairly superficial rust stain evident in spots. One that needs a good clean but a hard to get Melbourne jar. Grade: 7 Estimate: $30 - 40
