Flowers Patent on base (S in the word Flowers is reversed). 16 fluted sides, large bulbous ring in neck, crudely applied "sauce" type top. Goldfields Salad Oil Applied top. Early small salad oil. Pale green aqua. 5 oz. 184 mm. 1860s
Veery Good. Bottle is perfectly solid just has staining over the whole surface inside and out. Some minor scuffs and scratches but no deep marks and no leaching to speak of. Good example of a scarce bottle. Possible variation with reverse S? Grade: 7 Estimate: $120 - 150
