Six leave type designs around the base with similar designs around the shoulder. Twelve slightly concave panels to the middle of the bottle. Large open pontil to base. Goldfields Pickle Round section, fine applied lip. Blue or turquoise tinged aqua. One and a half Pint. 209 mm. 1850s
Excellent. Has been tumble cleaned, glass surface retains most of its whittling and mould marks. A partially open bubble on the inner neck has some black dirt inside it. There is some light wear on the raised shoulder and also some wear on the underside of the base where the bottle sits when standing. Beautiful and quite rare pickle bottle.
