Unembossed. Known as a Mallet, possibly English. Wine Black 30 oz. Black Glass. English Mallet, with open pontil and crudely formed lip. An amazing piece of history. 222 mm. 1750s
Excellent. This bottle is hazy and stained throughout. At the top there is a patch of rust. There is some light surface scuffs and scratches. There is a small burst bubble to one side. A tiny mark on the upper lip. This would normally be a very good rating, but we have taken into account the age of this piece and the fact that the patina is not at all frowned upon for collectors of bottles of this era. A superb piece of history!! Grade: 8.3 Estimate: $400 - 500
