Truscott Ink Glass 2 oz, Aqua. 68 mm. 1860s
Good. Sheer lip has a chip from the rear, about 8 x 3 mm, there is a crack emanating from this area going down about 12 mm into the bulbous neck area, then after a 90 degree turn travelling a further 3 mm. There is also an impact mark on the front shoulder with a 6 mm fracture. There is a fine shallow, slither chip to front shoulder. This piece is lightly stained. It is crudely made, full of airbubbles and a good example of a rare bottle until a better example comes along. Grade: 6.3 Estimate: $20 - 30
