Robert Thin / Liverpool with British registration diamond to base (dated 11th May 1858 and registered to John Cummington & Co., Liverpool). Known as the Robert Thin Leaf Bottle. Household Goldfields 26oz Green-aqua Salad Oil or Vinegar. Has 9 concave panels to neck and shoulder and 9 leaves to shoulder. 6 convex panels and 6 leaves to the lower front with a large “flat” label space to the back. 332 mm. 1858-1860s
VG. Might rate this one better if it had a good wash! Still some dirt and dust in the grooves and around the embossed details. There is a tiny little impact mark down the bottom of one of the leaves near the front (2mm x 3mm). A little bit of cloudiness in patches on the inside. Nice example of a classic of bottle collecting. Grade: 7.6 Estimate: $200 - 250
