W. H. Logan / Hillgrove. Potters stamp: Mashman / Chatswood. (New South Wales). Ginger Beer. Cork Stoppered. Dump. Salt Glaze. Impressed. 10 oz. 170 mm. 1900s
Repaired. (0). The vendor tells us this was burnt, also under the base in texta it says "Burnt Repainted". However, this is more than just burnt without a doubt. There is definitely a large base chip repair to the left which looks to be over about 50 mm and maybe up about 20 mm or so, this is over part of the potters stamp which I am pretty sure has been put back in by hand. There is also a smaller repair to the front right base edge and heel. Has there been anything done to the lip or neck? Not sure at all but I am guessing there has been some work around here too - there is a dusty powder inside the neck synonymous with repaired bottles.. Estimate: $30-50
