James Deakin & Sons, Sheffield Silver Plate Ink Well with Fountain Pen Holder and a Bison in the Middle.. Ink. Well. Silver plated ink well stand with fountain pen holder. 230 mm across. 1900s
Very Good. (N/A). There are no ink wells with this. There is a fountain pen with nib though and two spare Geo. W. Hughes, Birmingham nibs stuck to this with Blutak. The silver plating has tarnished. Some minor scratches and marks. A great looking item with superb detail. Deakin produced a range of similar items with different animals, I couldn't find another example with a bison on it though!. Estimate: $100-150
