Mason's (diagonally between two geometric shapes. Owens ejection ring to base. (Australia). Household. Jar. Slightly tapered jar. Screw thread with seam through lip. Sun coloured amethyst. Half Gallon. With a fitting lid. 223 mm. 1920s
Good. (6.9). The sealing rim has a 15 x 5 mm chip at the front and an 18 x 5 mm chip at the side. Also a 4 x 3 mm burst bubble right on the seam line as it goes over the edge of the sealing rim on the left side. A bit dirty and hazy inside. Scuffs and wear around. Fine 7 x 3 mm bruise at the front base edge and then under the front base is a 12 x 8 mm bruise. Great natural colour. (Jar 786, "The Standard Fruit Jar Reference 2011, Dick Roller").
