Poor. (4). Almost half the lip around the back and right has been broken down to the inner ledge and glued back in. Front lip has a large chip of 35 x 6 mm. From this chip is a hairline which runs down into the print and is about 60 mm long. Dark, discoloured stained crazing throughout. A relatively minor 10 x 7 mm chip under the right base edge. An extremely rare jar. Given a better one may not come along this is a worthy gap filler. Stewart & Walker operated as a Grocer/General Merchant in South Brisbane from 1890-1901. It is believed they ceased operations as a result of severe drought conditions affecting their supplies. . Estimate: $50-75
