Brick with Dog's Paw Print to side.. Miscellaneous. Brick. Brick with Dog's Paw Print to side. About 220 mm long. 19th century
Very Good. (N/A). The paw print to the side is quite deep and well defined. The other narrow side of the brick has some splits, tapping between these sounds tinny, so a heavy knock may cause this to pop out. Some chips to the corners and edges. Some other cracks which sound a little tinny. Basically, quite a crudely made brick. Bricks were handmade into a mould (stock) and then taken out to dry in the field for a day or so, before going into a kiln. During the time they are in the field semi-drying, cats, dogs, chickens, possums and any other animal around, would walk over them...that is how we get their foot prints. . Estimate: $50-75
