(Two full thistles and one half thistle around the shoulder). Base: British Registration Diamond dated 1st January 1859 to Tower & Arrol. (United Kingdom). Goldfields. Whisky/Whiskey. Fancy shape with large embossed thistles. Ring around neck. Applied top. Aqua. 26 oz. 318 mm. 1859-1860s
Near Mint. (9). Tiny nick to upper outer lip edge. Little surface flake to mid neck below the neck ring, barely even noticeable. Couple of tiny surface nicks. A few little scuff marks and some fine scratches. One slightly scuffed scratch near rear base edge. Base edge at bottom of label space panel has a thin line of wear over about 25 mm and another shorter one around from this, nothing overly deep though. A little fine usage wear under the heel. A few little spots of grime which should soak off. A fabulous example of this superb bottle.. Estimate: $3000-3500
