Battle Scene. Wouvermann Pinx! (With Base).. Pot Lid. Prattware. Large Oblong lid with fancy rounded ends. Same outline shape to base but with multiple ridges. Multi-coloured lid. 140 mm long. 1860s+
Very Good. (7.5). Repaired chip to the upper left corner over roughly 20 x 5 mm. Hairline at the far right end seems to run about 30 mm into the face but underneath this line goes for about 80 mm. Some other small nibbling and marks around the outer edge. Nice bright colours to the print. Base matches well and is good one display but the upper rim has a large deep chipped area over about 60 x 10 mm. Smaller chip to the rim at the other end of the base. Discolouration and crazing. Grading for lid only.. Estimate: $70-100
