World Oil (Unembossed). No base mark.. Goldfields. Salad Oil. Applied top. Flared lip. Bulged neck with four petals. Upper body ring. Flared out lower body. Aqua. 7 oz. 245 mm. 1850s
Very Good. (7.4). Polished. Tiny flake to outer lip. Small spot of pitted wear to ring around upper body, another spot of deep wear shortly below this. Little nibbled flake to base edge. Tiny nibbled flake to inner heel. Remains of scratches and the odd scuff mark. Known as a world oil, this is the version without the embossed world.. Estimate: $50-75
