Hourglass Salad Oil. Dot to centre of base and wide round pontil scar.. Goldfields. Salad Oil. Squarish above the base with four indented ovals. Eight scalloped panels to body. Ring at shoulder. Double ring in neck. Applied lip. Aqua. 4 oz. 142 mm. 1840s - 1850s
Excellent. (8.4). A little beauty. Has a light but distinct pontil scar around the outer underside of the base. Light haze. Some minor marks. Lovely example of a very hard to get bottle.. Estimate: $300-400
