Rowlands / Late / Rowlands & Lewis / Ballarat / Melbourne / & Sydney // Trade / (Shield) / (Miner & Farmer) / (Coat of Arms) / Mark. Smooth base. (Victoria & New South Wales). Aerated Water. Cork Stoppered. Dump. Applied top. Dark Honey Amber. 10 oz. 154 mm. 1880s
Very Good. (7). Hazy throughout, this has an etched feel throughout as well, although this etching is not overly deep. A few tiny fisheyes and impacts around the lip, some folds from making as well, but pretty good in general. 18 x 6 mm bubble near top of writing only side has an open part over about 7 x 5 mm which has let dirt into the rest. Couple of small nibbled impact marks to the base edge and heel. Some little fisheyes and impacts around the body. Some scratches and little scuffs. Very rare bottle in this variety with Sydney on it, whilst we have sold one before, it had lip damage and so this undamaged example is better.. Estimate: $1000-1500
