J. R. Gracey / (JRG within a Flag) / Nathalia. No base mark. (Victoria). Aerated Water. Codd. Four way or Dobson type. Applied top. Aqua. 10 oz. 243 mm. 1890s
Very Good. (7.3). Hazy, this has been oiled internally and has some associated grime. Tiniest of nicks to lower lip, another thin nibbled spot under lip as well. Front left upper body has a pitted type of scratch, basically a line of fisheyes over about 30 x 3 mm, although these aren't overly deep. Front left dimple has some wear and fisheyes around it. Upper rear has some fine pitted wear in patches and some light scuffs. Some other scratches to be found and relatively minor scuffs. Some little fisheyes and impact marks. A crudely made bottle with a long neck. you can see a small rectangle slug plate around the small badge, I have never seen this before on any bottles. I have only ever seen one of these before with no top on it. An extremely rare bottle, possibly the first codd used by Gracey.. Estimate: $1000-1500
