Antique Italian Pottery Pilgrim Flask with Infant Baby Jesus on one side and angels on other. Gargoyles on either side. Printed "Certosa Di Firenze" Base printed: 275 . Pottery. Religious. Multi-coloured pottery pilgrim flask. Possibly tin glaze. 143 mm. 19th century
Fair. (5.7). Glaze is flaked to upper part above the angels, the shoulder has a chip or flake too. Gargoyles have some chips and flakes. A few flakes around the pedestal base. Some grime scattered around. The shoulder chip has a crack from it down to the baby Jesus on one side and across the shoulder above the angels. Some other hairlines and crazing. Looks to be a tin glazed item. Not sure on age, but have a feeling it is pretty early?
