4 stamped near the top. No other markings. A large brass tap has been glued in place. Tap has an L stamped on one side of the handle.. Pottery. Barrel. Banded barrel. Dark tan bands. 4 Gallon. 415 mm. Late 1800s - 1900s
Very Good. (7.9). 18 x 8 mm chip to the top and inner rim near the front. Around a 100 mm curved hairline around the breather hole on the top as well. While the tap has been glued in, the inner part of the tap hole looks to be in good condition so presumably all in good shape. A smallish chip just under the front base edge. Dust and grime. Good looking large barrel.. Estimate: $40-60
