Excellent (N/A). There are 45 pieces of ephemera in this folder! These mostly relate to the Richmond Council, the earliest one at a quick glance is dated 1872! Companies include Commercial House, there is a letter from the Mayor of the Town of Richmond in 1878 (Johnson), James Paterson Coal and Coke merchants, Swan Street Timber Yard, there is an application for the registration of a boarding house, Derrick Bros., Ironmongers, The Metropolitan Gas Company, there is even a report of case of infectious disease to the municipality, being diphtheria, contracted by Beatrice Walker who was 20 years old, living at 28 Madden Grove, Burnley, another from the Victorian Iron Works, and many more. These have some discolouration, folds and so forth, but are in really good condition overall. A few do have tears and a missing piece or two. An amazing selection of early Richmond history, this is quite a significant folder of ephemera! Estimate: $100-150
