South Australian Cone Ink. Base Mark: OO. (South Australia) Ink, Glass Sheer lip. Cone shape. Deep mid blue. 2 oz. 87 mm 1890s
Very Good (7.6). Some typical small flakes and chips around the sheer lip with one or two slivers as well. Some inner dirt looks like it will soak out. Scratch to inner neck. A few minor scuffs and scratches. A nice example, this is a tad darker or at least more consistent than the other blue example in this auction, the lip on the other one is definitely lighter in colour. We have a range of colours of these early South Australian inks in this auction. Estimate: $30-50
