Early stoneware "Ginger Beer" EX stamp to the lower edge. Pottery, Stoneware Tapered dump shape. Big blob top. Salt Glaze. Impressed. About 8 oz. 168 mm 1830s
Excellent (8.5). 6 x 5 mm chip at the base edge. 8 x 6 mm mark near the EX stamp looks like it has caught in the kiln and there is a similar mark on the edge of a kiln kiss at the shoulder. Couple of other kiln kisses around. Crude English made bottle. Interesting note on this from the vendor: Found in Sydney alongside Convict bottles, bought from a Sydney Bottle Club auction. Estimate: $70-100
